Italy. He is the smallest country in the world, only having a total land area of 109 acres. He is very religious and is also the home of the pope. Everything he does is usually to convince others to follow
Jesus, because to him, religion is what matters most.
History
Established as an independent city-state in 1929 through the Lateran Treaty, Vatican City remained neutral during World War II and played a humanitarian role by providing aid to refugees. Diplomatic relations were established with the United States in 1984, while in 2001,
Pope John Paul II issued a historic apology for past errors of 2000 years of the Catholic Church. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 affected Vatican operations, prompting the cancellation of public events and the adoption of safety measures.
