Antigua and Barbuda

From Heterodontosaurus Balls

Antigua and Barbuda is a small island country located in the Caribbean Sea. She is an unimportant island in history, but at the present time, she is a tourist country that is not important, that’s why nobody attacks her. She is calm, and aside from tourism, she also has fishing as a source of economy.

Antigua and Barbuda have 365 beaches, just like how a non leap year has 365 days.

History[edit | edit source]

In 1981, British Antigua gained independence, becoming Antigua and Barbuda. The nation experienced significant events, including the 1989 devastating Hurricane Hugo, which caused extensive damage. In 2004, Antigua and Barbuda joined the Caribbean Single Market and Economy (CSME) to enhance economic cooperation. In 2017, Hurricane Irma rendered Barbuda uninhabitable, but her population began to recover in 2018. The country has also been active in regional politics, partially hosting the 2007 Cricket World Cup and participating in various international organizations to bolster her global presence.
