Mongolia is a landlocked country in east Asia. He is squished between China and Russia. He is one of the least popular human migration destinations. With his sparse population, a struggling economy, unsuitable clay, and tiny military, it is safe to say that the once-mighty Mongol Empire is not as powerful today.

But his problem is that he has much empty land and mineral resources under it. He doesn't have that much money to mine it. One of the richest mines was closed because it made less profit. Still, the company ran away from taxes and made more profit, while Mongolia struggled with his economy.

His national day is July 11th.

In 1992, Mongolia dropped Socialism in a nonviolent revolution, because he realized he is better off without it, plus the entire Soviet bloc is collapsing, and Mongolia does not want to full into becoming puppet of commie China. Adjusting to Capitalism isn't easy, but he’s determined to modernize and stand on his own. He signs his first foreign investment deals, eyeing the vast mineral wealth beneath his lands in 1993. The first election victories for non-communist parties came in 1993 ( presidential elections) and 1996 ( parliamentary elections).

In the mid-1990s, times were tough for were tough for Mongolia. He faces economic struggles, high inflation, and rising unemployment. He misses the old Soviet aid, but he refuses to go back. Mongolia just needed more time, and he is opening his doors to the international community for more investments and aid. In 29 January 1997, Mongolia joined the World Trade Organization.

In the 2000s, Mongolia discovers more of his mineral riches—copper, coal, gold—and foreign investors start flocking. But he is very cautious around organ harvester, who seems a bit too eager to do business.

In June 2021, Ukhnaa Khurelsukh, the former prime minister and the candidate of ruling the Mongolian People's Party, became the president after winning the election.
