β€œβ€I AM SO SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!
β€” 🟒 Canada apologizing for having small problems

Canada is a big, 🟒 kind, 🟒 peaceloving, weak and cold Western 🟒 democracy located in 🟒 North America, known for his maple leaves and talent at hockey. He usually wears a raccoon trapper hat and likes to eat maple syrup, sometimes he pours it onto snow and eat it. Canada is also popular for saying "eh", apologizing for every little thing, even if he is not responsible, and his 🟒 culture war of autonomy against his more well-known counterpart, the 🟒 United States of America

He has the longest coastline in the 🟒 world, and also is the second largest country, behind 🟒 Russia. His climate is usually very cold up north, hence why most of his people live near his border with his older brother 🟒 America, who he depends a lot on for 🟒 trade and 🟒 military.

Canada is also known for his 🟒 aggressive animals, like the moose and Canadian geese. It is said that the reason Canada is so kind is because he channels all his anger into the geese…

History

Early

On 17 April 1982, Canada gains full control over his 🟒 constitution with the enactment of the Constitution Act. This includes the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. On November 5 of the same year, the Canada Act 1982 was signed, formally ending any remaining legislative ties with the 🟒 United Kingdom. Canada is finally officially and fully independent from the 🟒 British Empire.

In 1995, the 🟒 Quebec independence referendum was held, with the "No" side winning by a narrow margin of 50.6% to 49.4%.

Modern

In 2015, 🟒 Justin Trudeau gets elected, making horrible policies and held on to his power for a long time up until 2025.

In June 2016, Canada legalized euthanasia (Medical Assistance in Dying), for people suffering from illness with foreseeable deaths. On January 25, 2020, the first confirmed cases of Coronavirus arrives in Canada. But in July 2021, Canada controversially extended MAiD to people with no risk for a foreseeable death (AKA disabled people), and have been promoting it to them. This is really concerning, as the woke government of Canada has essentially made killing yourself easier than getting medical treatment in hospitals.

Contemporary

In July of 2021 south-western Canada as well as a few 🟒 US states suffered a heat wave; it was mostly active in the US-Canada border near 🟒 British Columbia and 🟒 Washington. Since 🟒 autumn is near and 🟒 summer is ending, so is the heat wave.

In 2022, Canada resolved a border dispute on the tiny island of 🟒 Hans with 🟒 Denmark. The dispute has been going on since 1973, though 🟒 violence was 🟒 never involved. Canada and Denmark decided to split the island in half, to show 🟒 Russia that border disputes could be solved without 🟒 war.

Canada finally started to care about their 🟒 illegal drug problem and started cracking down on fentanyl from the pressure of tariffs from the newly elected 🟒 Trump in 2025. Trump has also continuously taunted Canada to make him the "51st state", starting a cultural war between Canada and the USA. Many Canadians are boycotting US brands.

🟒 Justin Trudeau was forced to step down in 2025 admist mass disaaproval of him. There was an election in 2025, and the 🟒 Liberals won their fourth consecutive term because the 🟒 Conservatives did not do enough in the mainstream media and instead focused on videos and ads, and most 🟒 old people (who majority voted) watches the news. However, the youth of Canada align with the conservatives more, due to the massive housing price crisis caused by the Liberals. It is so bad that four in ten (43%) Canadians age 18-34 would vote to be American if citizenship and conversion of assets to USD are guaranteed.

Canada took in 817K new immigrants in the first four months of 2025. In August, Trump hikes tariffs on Canada from 25% to 35%, citing Canada's failure to curb 🟒 fentanyl trafficking and also Canada's use of counter-tariffs.

Canada drops to 18th place in 2025 🟒 World 🟒 Happiness Report rank, among the "largest losers". In fact, for the youth, Canada dropped to 71st place.

Etymology

Canada's name originates from a 🟒 Native word "Kanada", which means "village". It is thought that the 🟒 settlers asked the Natives what name the place we now know as Canada is called, which the Natives thought the settlers were referring to the village.

Government

The government of Canada is split into three levels: 🟒 federal, provincal/territorial and local/municipal. The federal government (lead by a prime minister) takes care of the country, in things related to national and international affairs, such as trade, national defense, foreign relations, currency, fishery/oceans, citizenship and immigration. Provincal and territorial takes care of more regional things like natural resources, education, healthcare, transportation and highways. The local and municipal governments take care of the intrests of a certain city, town or village, such as waste removal, water and sewage, libraries, parks and recreation.

Canadians 🟒 vote for a candidate of their desired party for their region, and if elected they can join the 🟒 parliament and go to the House of Commons to debate and select laws.

Geography

Canada's geography contains three groups of locations: highlands, lowlands, and shields (a kind of in between and mix of highlands and lowlands).

Culture

Canada himself as the country doesn't have much original 🟒 culture, his cultures are all a group of 🟒 separated cultures, the "cultural mosaic" (such as 🟒 Native, 🟒 French, and more recently, 🟒 Indian), in contrast to the 🟒 USA's 🟒 melting pot. One element that Canada has is hockey, which can be argued as original.

Trivia

  • Canada have 52,455 islands.
  • Canada's coastline is 243,042 kilometres (151,019 mi) long.
  • Canada's land border with the 🟒 United States is the longest in the world.
  • Hockey is the national winter sport of Canada, while lacrosse is the national summer sport.
  • There had been a rumor going around in Canada that 🟒 Indians have been pooping on 🟒 Wasaga Beach, which sparked many others to post Indians doing disgusting things in Canada. But, it turns out that many "evidence" were either faked or taken at other countries. And it turns out the woman who posted the original video that started this had an Indian ex-husband and probably had a grudge against Indians. However, some evidence have shown to be real.
  • 74,000 people have died from 2018-2025 waiting on the list for Canadian healthcare.
  • Half of Canadians are $200 or less away from not being able to pay bills.
  • Canada always talks about how his "🟒 universal healthcare" is so much better than 🟒 Amerima's healthcare, but in reality you have to wait a very long time in line, and you can't go to private healthcare services because they get shut down by government, and the MAiD system has been actively pushing and pressuring vulnerable people to take their own lives.

O Canada

O Canada (Γ” Canada) is the national anthem of Canada. It has served as his de-facto national anthem since 1939, officially becoming his national anthem in 1980 when Canada's National Anthem Act received royal assent and became effective on July 1 as part of that year's Dominion Day (today's Canada Day) celebrations.

The original 🟒 French lyrics were translated to 🟒 English in 1906. Multiple English versions ensued, with 🟒 Robert Stanley Weir's 1908 version (which was not a translation of the French lyrics) gaining the most popularity. Weir's lyrics eventually served as the basis for the official lyrics enacted by 🟒 Parliament. Since then, the English lyrics have been revised three times, most recently when An Act to amend the National Anthem Act was enacted in 2018, applying gender-neutral language. The French lyrics remain unaltered.

O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True 🟒 patriot love in all of us command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!

O Canada!
Land of our ancestors
Glorious deeds circle your brow
For your arm knows how to wield the sword
Your arm knows how to carry the cross;
Your history is an epic
Of brilliant deeds
And your valour steeped in faith
Will protect our homes and our rights.
Will protect our homes and our rights.

Γ” Canada!
Terre de nos aΓ―eux,
Ton front est ceint de fleurons glorieux!
Car ton bras sait porter l'Γ©pΓ©e,
Il sait porter la croix!
Ton histoire est une Γ©popΓ©e
Des plus brillants exploits. Et ta valeur, de foi trempΓ©e,
ProtΓ©gera nos foyers et nos droits.
ProtΓ©gera nos foyers et nos droits.

Second, Third & Fourth Stanzas

Below are the second, third, and fourth stanzas of O Canada, which are rarely sung.

II
O Canada! Where pines and maples grow.
Great prairies spread and lordly rivers flow.
How dear to us thy broad domain,
From 🟒 East to 🟒 Western sea.
Thou land of hope for all who toil!
Thou True North, strong and free!

Chorus
🟒 God keep our land glorious and free!
𝄆 O Canada, we stand on guard for thee. 𝄇

III
O Canada! Beneath thy shining skies
May stalwart 🟒 sons, and gentle 🟒 maidens rise,
To keep thee steadfast through the years
From East to Western sea.
Our own beloved native land!
Our True North, strong and free!

Chorus

IV
Ruler supreme, who hearest humble prayer,
Hold our Dominion within thy loving care;
Help us to find, O God, in thee
A lasting, rich reward,
As waiting for the better Day,
We ever stand on guard.

Chorus

II
Under the eye of 🟒 God, near the giant river,
The Canadian grows hoping.
He was born of a proud race,
Blessed was his birthplace.
Heaven has noted his career
In this new world.
Always guided by its light,
𝄆 He will keep the honour of his flag. 𝄇

III
From his patron, the precursor of the true God,
He wears the halo of fire on his brow.
Enemy of 🟒 tyranny
But full of loyalty,
He wants to keep in harmony,
His proud freedom;
And by the effort of his genius,
𝄆 Set on our ground the truth. 𝄇

IV
Sacred love of the throne and the altar,
Fill our hearts with your immortal breath!
Among the foreign races,
Our guide is the law:
Let us know how to be a people of brothers,
Under the yoke of 🟒 faith.
And repeat, like our fathers,
𝄆 The battle cry: "For 🟒 Christ and 🟒 King!" 𝄇

II

Sa fière liberté;
Et par l'effort de son gΓ©nie,
𝄆 Sur notre sol asseoir la vΓ©ritΓ©. 𝄇

IV
