National Conservatism (NatCon) is a statist, 
culturally right-wing, civically and economically variable, but usually 
Authoritarian Right, and 
nationalist ideology who intends to preserve traditions, national and 
cultural identity as well as emphasizing the protection of national interests, mixing elements of 
conservatism with nationalism. He has a strict sense of 
law and order, is generally nationalistic, favors immigration regulation, and values โโboth nation and family.
It's important to not confuse NatCon and 
AuthCon. Despite both ideologies holding the same stances on 
social and 
cultural issues, NatCon is concerned about the nation, while AuthCon is more about state power, with the latter sometimes being anti-nationalist.
History
The seeds of National Conservatism in a modern sense go back to traditional conservatism (think 
Edmund Burke) plus 19th-century nationalism (especially in 
Europe). However, many people in ancient times had views and/or values that would be considered "National Conservative" if held up to modern standards.
In the 20th century, many conservative movements in Europe and the 
US began blending national identity, 
social conservatism, and economic pragmatism. In America, NatCon existed in pieces among certain post-WWII conservatives, but wasn't named yet.
The national conservatives found success in 
Armenia through their party 
Republican Party of Armenia. This party ruled the country from 1999 all the way until 2018.
The formal movement called "National Conservatism" began taking shape in 2019, with the launch of the first National Conservatism Conference organized by the Edmund Burke Foundation.

Authoritarian Conservatism - You care too much about the 
state instead of the nation itself. And don't forget that some of you, like

Yanukovych were opposed to nationalism.
Islamic Theocracy - My western variants think you're ruining western civilization. But 
this guy is cool though.
