India

From Heterodontosaurus Balls

India, also known as Bharat and officially known as the Republic of India, is a 🟒 Hindutva 🟒 republic located in South Asia. He is often portrayed as a true 🟒 vegan and doesn't want to be forced to eat cow (his holy animal). He also likes to make scam calls, and have a big accent when speaking 🟒 English.

There are over 1.450 billion people in India (2024), which makes him the most populous countryball, surpassing 🟒 China in 2023. He is the 12th most popular human migration destination after 🟒 Ukraine. India has many different cultures and ethnic groups that live together. He has a very rich cuisine. Most people are 🟒 religious, with around 79.8% of the population practicing 🟒 Hinduism.

India loves his Indian cuisine such as curry and often eats with his bare hands. He likes computers and is a 🟒 traditionalist for upholding and practicing ancient traditions. Popular 🟒 religions such as 🟒 Hinduism, 🟒 Buddhism and 🟒 Sikhism all originated from ancient India. However, for most of 🟒 history, there was no country that was "India", only multiple kingdoms or foreign invaders. This lack of a unified 🟒 cultural identity led Indian 🟒 society downhill when he became 🟒 independent as a new country.

History

When 🟒 Britain imposed the Rowlatt Act (the law that can arrest people for no reason), Indian protested 🟒 peacefully. Then they ended up being shot by British soldiers. 🟒 Gandhi organized to make a boycott on cloth goods made in Britain. India eventually gained independence in 1947 as a 🟒 republic, along with 🟒 Pakistan and 🟒 Burma. After independence, India spent decades trying to survive without 🟒 international trade.

India fought against 🟒 Pakistan in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947 to 1948. This war was fought between India and Pakistan over the princely state of 🟒 Jammu and Kashmir. A formal cease-fire was declared at 23:59 on the night of 31 December 1948.

Vital to India's self-image as an independent nation was his 🟒 constitution, completed in 1950, which put in place a 🟒 secular and 🟒 democratic republic. Per the 🟒 London Declaration, India retained his membership of the 🟒 Commonwealth of Nations, becoming the first republic within the Commonwealth.

India automatically qualified for the 1950 🟒 FIFA World Cup after all other countries in his group withdrew, but could not afford for both FIFA and 🟒 Olympic Games, so he withdrew from FIFA as well.

🟒 Economic liberalization in India, which began in the 1980s and the collaboration with 🟒 Soviet Union for technical know-how, has created a large urban middle class, transformed India into one of the world's fastest-growing 🟒 economies, and increased his geopolitical clout.

India ditched his model of local production for local consumption following a currency crisis in the early 1990s that forced policymakers to ask the 🟒 International Monetary Fund (IMF) for help. The IMF cash came with conditions: India had to open up to foreign investment, cut red tape and remove 🟒 trade barriers. India has enjoyed a significantly expedited development and has achieved an economic growth rate of 7-8% per year since his economic reforms in 1991. Many saw this as the start of India's reintegration into the global economy.

In 2004, the use of the Indian flag was allowed for the whole population. Before, the flag can only be flown at official government buildings and by official government peoples, in order to prevent anyone from disrespecting the flag.

In the first quarter of financial year 2022-2023, India's economy grew by 13.5%. Over the last 20 years, liberalization has connected Indian young, vibrant workforce with firms around the 🟒 world.

In 2023, almost all of 🟒 North India experienced heavy rain, causing severe flooding and landslides.

Fighting broke out between India and his old rival 🟒 Pakistan on 7 May 2025, after India launched missile strikes on Pakistan, codenamed Operation Sindoor. India accused Pakistan of supporting cross-border 🟒 terrorism, which Pakistan denied. A 🟒 ceasefire negotiated by the 🟒 United States of America ended the conflict on 10 May 2025. India and Pakistan both accused each other of violating the ceasefire agreement, and sporadic fighting continues. On May 12, India reportedly neutralized 15-20 Pakistani drones in the 🟒 Kashmir.

Today, India is one of the world's top outsourcing destinations, with many of his workers powering back-end IT systems, call centers for scamming and software development. This has also helped India to run a trade surplusβ€”whereby he sells more than he buysβ€”in goods and services with the 🟒 US, who has a huge trade deficit. However, Indian trade policy's described as opaque, unpredictable, and says it often leaves foreign firms drowning in paperwork. Although 🟒 Modi welcomes foreign investments, foreign investors report some traps for them.

  1. ↑ This is talking about the possible assassination/murder of 🟒 Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Also he wasn't actually a 🟒 terrorist, many proof photos used by Indian media are in fact photos of other 🟒 Sikhs, such as 🟒 Jagmeet Singh.
