Belize
Belize is a country located in Central America. She is bordered to the north by 
Mexico and to the southwest by 
Guatemala, and the 
Caribbean Sea to her east. She is one of the only countries to recognize 
ROC as real China.
Belize’s small population is ethnically diverse and includes a large proportion of immigrants.
History
In 1981, Belize got independence from 
Britain. Her neighbor Guatemala refused to recognize the new nation because of their longstanding territorial dispute, claiming that Belize belonged to Guatemala. After independence, about 1,500 British troops remained in Belize to deter any possible Guatemalan incursions.
In 1990, the United Kingdom announced that he would end his military involvement in Belize. In 1994 all British military withdrew, except for a united to train the newly formed 
Belize Defence Force.
Etymology
The name Belize is traditionally believed to have been derived from the 
Spanish pronunciation of the last name of 
Peter Wallace, a 
Scottish buccaneer who may have begun a settlement at the mouth of the 
Belize River about 1638. It is also possible that the name evolved from the 
Mayan word belix (“muddy water”) or belikin (“land facing the sea”).

How to draw
Belize has a drawing rating of hard.
- Draw a ball.
- Fill it with blue.
- Draw two thin red horizontal stripes at the top and bottom of the ball.
- Add a big white circle in the middle of the ball.
- Draw a shield divided into three parts (top left, top right, bottom).
- Draw some tools in the top two parts, and water and a boat in the bottom part.
- Fill the background of the top left part with white, the top right part with yellow, and the bottom part with light blue.
- Draw some grass behind the bottom of the shield.
- Draw a brown man holding an axe behind the left side of the shield, and a black man holding a paddle behind the right side of the shield.
- Draw a brown tree with green leaves emerging from behind the top of the shield.
- Add a yellow scroll with the text “SUB UMBRA FLOREO” on it (the text in black).
- The back side of the scroll that is showing should be coloured blue.
- Draw a green olive branch circling in around the white circle.
- Add eyes and you are FINALLY done.
