Nazi Germany, officially known as the German Reich and later the Greater German Reich, also referred to as the German Third Reich or the Thousand Year Reich, was the German state from 1933 to 1945. During this period, Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party seized control, turning the country into a totalitarian dictatorship.

Nazi Germany is known to be very sadistic, ruthlessly experimenting, torturing and killing anybody who did not fit the ideal of the “ The Aryan Race”. The regime's ideology was rooted in a perverse interpretation of Social Darwinism and a belief in the superiority of the so-called Aryan master race. This led to the systematic persecution and extermination of Jews, Romani people, Slavs, disabled individuals, political dissidents, and many other minority groups in what is now known as the Holocaust.

He was really successful in his death camps. He needed friends and more importantly, allies to accomplish world dominance. Nazi Germany became friends with Italy because he was fascist, just like him. He also became friends with Empire of Japan because he was extremely powerful and he could make a strong diversion for threats.

Nazi Germany is also called the “Third Reich” (Third Empire), as he considered the Holy Roman Empire as the First Reich, the German Empire as the Second Reich, and himself as the Third.

History

Buildup to War

Although the Nazis won the greatest share of the popular vote in the two Reichstag general elections of 1932, they did not have a majority. Hitler refused to participate in a coalition government unless he was its leader. Under pressure from politicians, industrialists, and the business community, president Paul von Hindenburg appointed Hitler as Chancellor of Germany on 30 January 1933. This event is known as the Machtergreifung ("seizure of power"). And as a result of its poverty, Germany renamed himself to Nazi Germany in 1933.

In 1935, Nazi Germany reclaimed the demilitarized Saar region and in 1936, he remilitarized the Rhineland. Meanwhile, Italy, having become fascist in 1922, also began his expansionist endeavors. During this period, The Third Reich rebuilt his armaments industry, transforming it into a formidable military-industrial complex. The regime also developed a powerful propaganda machine, producing films such as Triumph of the Will. However, Germany faced a significant blow to his racial ideology during the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin, where American athletes, including Jesse Owens, triumphed, challenging the Nazi myth of Aryan supremacy.

Between 1936 and 1937, Nazi Germany helped fellow fascists to destroy Spanish republicans in Spain and bombed Basque in the Spanish Civil War. In 1938, The Third Reich that is Nazi Germany annexed Austria along with Czechoslovakia and his Sudetenland clay. Slovakia became independent, and Bohemia and Moravia became a protectorate.

In 1938, the United Kingdom and France met with Nazi Germany in Munich to sign an agreement in which Nazi Germany agreed to cease its territorial expansion. However, in September 1939, Nazi Germany violated this agreement by invading Poland under a secret non-aggression pact with the Soviet Union. When Nazi Germany refused to withdraw from Poland, the United Kingdom and France declared war, marking the beginning of World War II.

Blitzkrieg!

In 1940, Nazi Germany formed alliances with the Kingdom of Italy and Japan. Nazi Germany annexed Denmark, Norway, Luxembourg, Belgium, and the Netherlands. In May 1940, Nazi Germany invaded France, resulting in the establishment of a puppet state, Vichy France, which took control of French territory as the French government fled to the United Kingdom. Nazi Germany then bombed the UK and attempted to invade and occupy him, but was ultimately defeated and forced to withdraw. The fall of France was very embarrassing for the French people and shocked the international community because France was seen as a military powerhouse at the time. Maybe it was a good thing that France surrendered, or else all the rich culture of France would have been destroyed.

In 1941, Nazi Germany invaded Yugoslavia and Greece. Italy, who invaded Monaco, helped Nazi Germany. Italy set up multiple puppet states in Yugoslavia's clay.

Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria allied with Nazi Germany in hopes of not being killed by him.

The Invasion of the Soviets

Nazi Germany wanted more land, and looking at his empire, he was quite powerful. So he decided to violate the non-aggression pact and declare war on Soviet Union in 1941, despite the fact that the Soviets were funding him and also despite still being at war with Britain.

The Nazis invaded the Soviets, forcing them further and further east. The Soviet Union retreated back, where there is food supply.

During Winter time, the Nazis had frozen and starved to death. The Soviet Union already have food supplies after retreating, then they outnumbered the Nazis and pushed them back. After that, Soviet Union started to invaded into Nazi territory.

America had also joined this war and invaded Nazi Germany further East.

The Thousand Year Reich Lasted Thirteen Years

The Western Allies landed on Normandy and began pushing inwards. In the east, the Soviet Union had killed off all of Nazi Germany’s puppets and allies and is headed straight at Berlin. Hitler refused to surrender but their lines could not hold up any longer. Hitler killed himself in his bunker, and Nazi Germany finally surrendered. The Soviet Union had successfully captured the north-east of Germany while France, Britain and America had occupied the western Germany. (This became known as Allied-Occupied Germany). He is actually alive and is currently living in Argentina’s basement oh sorry I meant the Moon
