France, or the French Fifth Republic, is a country located in Europe. She is the mother of

Histoire (History)
After WWII, France was restored. But now France is at war with 
Algeria, which was her colony. Due to instability, France shifted from the 
Fourth Republic to the Fifth Republic. But in the end, France still lost the war and Algeria (which was very embarrassing for France) was granted independence, marking the beginning of the end of France’s 
major colonial empire.
