Nigeria

Nigeria, officially known as the Federal Republic of Nigeria, is a country located on the western coast of Africa. He is the most populous country in Africa, with an estimated population of over 240 million people as of 2026. He is bordered by Niger to the north, Chad to the northeast, Cameroon to the east, and Benin to the west. To the south, he has a coastline along the Gulf of Guinea in the Atlantic Ocean. The country's terrain varies from coastal swamps and tropical forests in the south to savannas in the central regions and semi-arid areas in the north. Being Africa's most populous and largest economy, it is no wonder that the CCP has his eyes on Nigeria.

Nigeria is a religiously diverse country, with Islam and Christianity being the two major religions. The northern region predominantly practices Islam, while Christianity is more prevalent in the southern regions. There are also numerous traditional African religions practiced across the country.

Nigeria is rich because he likes to scam people and is "really good" at it. He usually target older people and pretend to be a Nigerian Prince who will give thousands of dollars if he can get your credit card number.

History

On 29 May 1999, Olusegun Obasanjo is inaugurated as president, marking the end of military rule and the beginning of the Fourth Republic.

In 2001, Nigeria establishes his first mobile phone networks, revolutionizing communication across the nation. In October 2002, the Miss World pageant, scheduled to be held in Nigeria, sparks riots due to controversy over religious and cultural sensitivities, leading to significant violence and bloody clashes between Christians and Muslims.

On 19 April 2003 Obasanjo is re-elected as president in elections marked by allegations of fraud and irregularities. On 18 October 2006, Nigeria cedes the Bakassi Peninsula to Cameroon following an International Court of Justice ruling.

In 2007, Umaru Musa Yar'Adua wins the presidential election, taking office on 29 May. The election is marred by widespread electoral fraud. But in 2010, Yar'Adua dies, and vice president Goodluck Jonathan is sworn in as president.

Jonathan wins the presidential election in 2011, and post-election violence resulted in significant loss of life and property. On 14 April 2014, the terrorist organization Boko Haram kidnaps 276 schoolgirls from Chibok, sparking international outrage and the #BringBackOurGirls campaign. On July, Nigeria becomes Africa's largest economy after rebasing his GDP calculations.

Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress wins the 2015 presidential election, marking the first time an incumbent president is defeated in Nigeria.

In July 2016, Nigeria officially enters a recession for the first time in over two decades due to low oil prices and economic mismanagement. On 23 July 2017 July 23, President Buhari returns to Nigeria after spending more than three months in the UK for medical treatment, amid speculation about his health. In 2019, Buhari is re-elected in an election with reported irregularities and violence.

October 2020 saw the End SARS protests against police brutality sweep across Nigeria, leading to both significant national and international attention. On 20 October, peaceful protesters are allegedly shot by Nigerian military forces in the Lekki Toll Gate shooting.

In June 2021, the Nigerian government suspends Twitter after the platform deletes a tweet from Buhari. The tweet was about warning the Ibgo peoples of war due to the ongoing Insurgency in Southeastern Nigeria. The Nigerian government claims that the reason for the ban is because Twitter is "a litany of problems with the social media platform in Nigeria, where misinformation and fake news spread through it have had real world violent consequences". The ban was lifted in January 2022.

2023 saw Bola Tinubu winning the presidential election, amid challenges and claims of electoral fraud from opposition parties.

On 25 December 2025, the USA under President Donald Trump conducted strikes against Islamic State militants in northwest Nigeria in coordination with the Nigerian government. People with Trump Derangement Syndrome accuse Trump of doing imperialism by striking the clay of another country, rather supporting ISIS over America.

• Chad - THANKS FOR SHOOTING TERRORISTS! But you are a bit strange.
• Benin - Small, irrelevant, and Francophone neighbour. But he is part Yoruba like mi.
• India - We both like scamming people!

Enemies

• Biafra - Some irrelevant Igbo dude who thought he would win independence from me back in the late 60s. Glad he's gone.
• Taiwan - Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory. Nigeria opposes any form of " Taiwan Independence." It's hard to stand up for China when my pockets are so heavy with Chinese money.
